Career/Personal Coaching
As far back as the ancient Greeks, people were counseled to “Know thyself”. In this course, participants will learn about the inborn attributes that impact their career and lifestyle choices.
Each person will take a two-part online assessment prior to the first class. The 40+ page results are distributed during the first class and used to assist each person to learn more about their behavioral and motivational preferences. These preferences impact how they interact with others and what types of career choices will be enjoyable or be uncomfortable.
In addition, participants will learn the principles of networking and write their own “soundbite” to introduce themselves in any situation.
Discovering Opportunities in Market Trends
Discovering new opportunities for growth is a must for securing a sustainable competitive market advantage. The challenge is in being able to forecast where the next wave of growth will occur. As new business opportunities are often localized, State data like population trends, urbanization ratios, and purchasing power can be effective for uncovering emerging opportunities in local markets. Maximizing new business opportunities is most effective when an “outside-in” approach, that is market-based and customer focused drives decision making.
